Panels

Single Shutter Panel
A single window shutter panel means there is just one panel situated within the frame. This is a design which is well suited to windows in rooms throughout the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, staircase landings and living rooms. Single Shutter Panels are available in our four separate styles, Tier on Tier, Full Height, Shaped and Café Style. The choice is also yours with regards to colours & finishes and materials too.

Bi-Fold Shutter Panels
Bi-Fold Shutters comprise of two shutter panels hinged together. When opened, the two married plantation shutters fold at the hinged point. Bi-Fold Shutters are well suited to French Doors and Patio Doors as they operate on a track system which means you can fold the shutters back easily to access the door. A Bi-pass system is also available, which enables the shutters to slide in front or behind each other.

Multi-Fold Shutter Panels
Consisting of more than two shutter panels that are hinged together, Multi-Fold Shutters fold in a concertina action. Like Bi-Fold Panels, these shutters are regarded as an excellent choice for doors and large glass windows, providing ease-of-access. They can also be utilised as a room divider or wardrobes.

Frames

Inside Recess
The shutter frame sits inside the hollow in your wall (the recess) and creates a frame surround.

Edge of Recess
Plantation shutters are installed on the edge of your recess and sit flush with the wall facing the room.

Outside Recess
If your window is flush with the wall or the depth of recess is too small for a shutter frame, then your plantation shutters will need to be installed outside the recess.
